Nino Dolidze was born in 1976. In 1993-1998 she had studied at the Department of Semitology of TSU, in 1999-2001 - at the post-graduate course of the same department. In 2004 (as a post-graduate student) and in 2014 (as a PhD student), she worked at the Free University of Berlin with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Nino Dolidze has defended her PhD thesis in philology in 2005. Since 2012, she has been an assistant professor at the Department of Arabic Studies, Faculty of Humanities, TSU. She is the author of a monograph (Maqama Genre in Arabic Literature, TSU, 2010), translations of fiction and of about 70 publications (articles, reviews, translations of fiction/non-fiction from Arabic/English).
