Merab Beridze
Current position: a Full Professor of Akhaltsikhe State Teaching University and an Associate Professor of Georgian University of St. Andrews.Working experience: 1974-1990 - Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; 1990-2005 - a director of Akhaltsikhe branch of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University; 2002-2005 - a head of Javakheti branch of Tbilisi State University (in Akhalkalaki).
Publications: Merab Beridze (Doctor of Philological Sciences) is the author of more than 100 scientific works. Some of them are monographs: “For the structure and history of the toponyms of Meskheti”(2008), “The roots of Muslim Meskhians and current situation” (2009), “Temples and names” (2010) and others.
