Nino Mgebrishvili

Nino Mghebrishvili enrolled at TSU Institute of Classical, Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies in 2003. In 2007 she continued her master's studies in Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology at the same institute, and since 2011 she has been a doctoral student in Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology. Her dissertation explores the Georgian translations of the Greek-language writings of Theodore Abu Qurrah preserved in Arseni of Iqalto's "Dogmatikon". In particular, the so-called "anti-Muslim controversy" is no longer considered by some scholars to be the authentic work of Theodore Abu Qurrah.
