Manana Kashia

In 1988, Manana Kashia graduated from I. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, Architecture of the Academy of Arts in Leningrad. From 1978 to 1983, Manana Kashia worked as a piano teacher in Batumi N1 Music School. Between 1983-1996, she worked as an art critic and consultant in the Union of Figures of Adjara Theater of Georgia, 1992-2001. Manana Kashia was a lecturer at the Batumi Higher Pedagogical College (the course taught - Theory and History of Fine Arts). From 1995 to 2009, she was a lecturer at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (the course taught - Theory and History of Fine Arts). Since 2009 she has been working as an invited lecturer at the St. Tbeli Abuserisdze Patriarchate Teaching University. She teachers the theory and history of fine arts (Georgian art, Western European art, Eastern art). In 2010, M. Kashia enrolled and is still a student of the doctoral program in Art History at the Faculty of Humanities, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
