Tea Kamushadze

In 2018, Tea Kamushadze defended her PhD dissertation entitled Shaping the City Image and Post-Soviet Transformations (the Case of Rustavi City) leading to a PhD degree in Anthropology. Tea Kamushadze participates in various international and local scientific project and conferences. She has received the CARTI scholarship as well as the Lane Kirkland Scholarship.
Currently T. Kamushadze works as a Research Fellow at the Department of Ethnology of Georgia at Iv. Javakhishvili Institute of History and Ethnology. She is an invited lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Tea Kamushadze’s research interests include post-Soviet Georgian reality, industrial cities, socialist heritage, representation of history and traditional forms of socialization.
