Born 1961. Graduate the Faculty of History and Philology of the Gori State Pedagogical Institute (1983); Post-graduate courses of the TSU (1983-1986). Defended candidate dissertation entitled “Kartlian Dialect of Liakhvi and Proni Gorge of the Georgian Language” (1987); PhD dissertation entitled “Vowel Alternating Verbs in Modern Georgian Language” (1999).
R. Kurdadze has published 1 monograph, around 100 scholarly works and 1 monograph with co-author.
Major research interests: Georgian verb; Georgian dialectology; issues of teaching Georgian as a second language, Georgian slang.
