Ia Grigalashvili graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (the Faculty of Philology) in 1995. During 1996-1999 she was a research student at Shota Rustaveli Institute of the Georgian Literature at the Georgian National Academy of Sciences. In 2002 Ia Grigalashvili defended a candidate dissertation entitled “Stepane Mtbevri’s “Martyrdom of Gobron””.Working experience:
2006-2007 – an assistant professor at the Institute of Mass Media and Public Communications;
2007-2009 – an assistant professor at Ilia Chavchavadze National University;
Since 2008 – a laboratory assistant at the Faculty of Humanities of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Ia Grigalashvili is the author of 3 monographs and 30 scientific works. She takes part in the local and international conferences.
