Maia Daraselia
Maia Daraselia was born on 17 October 1971 in Sukhumi. In 1995 she graduated from Sukhumi branch of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (the Faculty of Philology; specialization - the English Language and Literature). In 2002 Maia Daraselia finished the post-graduate studentship at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (the chair of the English Philology).On 11 November 2003 she defended the candidate dissertation entitled “For the cognitive value of the metaphor in the language of (social and) political journalism”.
Major Research Interests: actual problems of linguistics.
Publications: 1 monograph, 1 text-book and about 30 scientific papers.
