Leri Tavadze
Born 23 January, 1984; Samtredia. Graduate (BA) Faculty of History of the I.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2005). Master of History, I.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (2007). Since 2008 he is doctoral student of the same University. From 2009 to 2010 studied at University of Angers (France). Works at doctoral thesis “Idea of Orthodox Empire and Georgia: Essays on the History of East European Integration in XII-XV centuries”. Currently works as a laboratory assistant at the Faculty of Humanities of the I.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.He has published around 20 articles and scholarly works.
Major research interests: issues of Georgian ancient and medieval history, medieval studies, Byzantinology, source study.
