Tamar Gelashvili
Tamar Gelashvili is a doctoral student of English at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She has participated in several academic conferences, among them in international conferences in Vienna, Lisbon and Tbilisi. She has published articles on Joyce, Beckett, Albee, and translated short stories and plays from English and German.Currently, as a doctoral student she is doing her research on James Joyce's Finnegans Wake (“The Function of Allusions in James Joyce's Finnegans Wake.) Apart from participating in various academic conferences, she has also won a scholarship from Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Foundation which allowed her to do her research for a month at Dublin UCD James Joyce Foundation, and she also spent three-weeks at Zurich James Joyce Foundation.
