Tinatin MargalitadzeTinatin Margalitadze is the Research Director of the Lexicographic Centre at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), Associate Professor at the Institute of European Languages and Literature (Department of English Philology) of TSU.
She is the Editor-in-Chief and publisher of 14 volumes of the printed version of the Comprehensive English-Georgian Dictionary (CEGD), as well as of its online version, Editor of English-Georgian Electronic and Online Military Dictionary, and a member of the Editorial Staff of the Comprehensive Georgian-English Dictionary (Editor-in-Chief – Donald Rayfield). She is a member of the Executive Board of EURALEX (European Association for lexicography), one of the organizers of two international symposia in lexicography held in Batumi, the author and director of MA and PhD programmes in lexicography.
George Meladze
In 1993, George Meladze graduated with honours from the English Department of the Faculty of Western European Languages and Literatures at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). From 1994 to 2001, he worked as a senior editor of 8 fascicles (letters C to L) of the Comprehensive English Georgian Dictionary, as the Head of the Terminological Committee. He is a compiler of the English-Georgian Military Dictionary (2010). Since 2010, he is a Senior Editor of the Comprehensive English-Georgian Online Dictionary, a leading specialist of Lexicographic Centre at TSU.
He has participated in local and international conferences and grant-supported projects.
